VACANCY: Legal Assistant – Dispute & Risk Management

Reports to: Partner

Participation as a pivotal member of the firm by enhancing Attorney(s) effectiveness by providing information-management support, representing the attorney to clients and others, demonstrating a high level of initiative and being a team player in the Department.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Client Service
  • Document Preparation
  • Attorney Support
  • Filing (Electronic & Physical)
  • Invoicing/Billing

 

Qualification, Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of four (4) years relevant work experience;
  • Paralegal qualification from an accredited institution will be an asset;
  • Familiarity with legal procedures specifically the Registry systems and legal protocols;
  • Excellent secretarial and organisational skills;
  • Advanced level MS Office computer skills:
  • High level communication skills – strong grammar, spelling, vocabulary and language skills;
  • High level of confidentiality;
  • Keen listening skills; and
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities.
